The HSLANJ Board would like your input!

August 2016 marks 5 years since the Board and members met to plan for the future of HSLANJ. At that time our organization was struggling.  Since then, however, we’ve hired an Executive Director, restructured our committees, expanded the Group Licensing Initiative, and made progress towards better meeting the needs of our members.  But there is more to do!

The Board would like all members to work with us to plan for the next five years.  Please join us at our retreat to look at the challenges facing HSLANJ and the opportunities available for us to better meet the needs of our members.

Please note: HSLANJ Members are welcome to attend the Board meeting.  However, if you would rather attend only the planning sessions, please schedule your arrival for between 9:45 and 10:00 am.

Facilitator: John Findlay, Ph.D., VP, Chief Program Designer, Maverick & Boutique

John Findlay has over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, community consultation, futures forecasting, organization transformation, government policy, infrastructure and new business development.  He is a skilled facilitator and the designer of innovative models and methods that help people communicate and collaborate more productively.  He and Abby Straus of Maverick & Boutique have facilitated past sessions for both LibraryLinkNJ and the New Jersey State Library.

Registration deadline is Thursday, March 19, 2020.  You will receive an email confirmation, and invoices are processed every Friday morning.

Cost: $60.00 per person 

Cancellations cannot be accepted after Thursday, March 19, 2020.  Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after this date.
